Oxford University Press invites you to further your study of the Ancient Chinese beyond your studies in The World In Ancient Times:  The Ancient Chinese  textbook.   You will be able to utilize the power of the Internet to conduct in-depth study.  “Gateways” connects you to websites which provide numerous links  about the Ancient Chinese. "Maps" will present maps and timeline of ancient and modern China.   “Chapter Support” offers sites with in-depth information about Ancient China specifically.related to  the key topics presented in each chapter.  "Activities" offers webquests, interactive lessons and quizzes,  and other internet or hands-on activities to support your study of Ancient China. You are also encouraged to do your own investigations using your favorite search engines.

The International Dunhuang Project – The British Library provides the best introduction o the texts and images found at Dunhuang, which date to 500-1000 CE.
